Oh, I already have a few ideas for improving the on-screen documentation. How about a split screen that displays additional information in the lower third if necessary?
I like the way you think!
Also, huge yes to this! ![]()
I know 2026 is underway already, but the only quality of life feature Iād like to see at the moment is for dialogue boxes such as network, presets etc. auto collapse upon the selection of a subsection within. For example, once I connect to wifi, the network box should auto collapse once the Wi-Fi network is associated. This could apply across all interactive Leitzentrale categories. I know maybe it is by design that these boxes stay open, but it doesnāt feel necessary for most.
Enjoy FOSDEM 2026!
Looking forward to a good year at Genode ![]()
As an aside, the Haiku community has in the past been somewhat parochial when it came to looking at ways of porting Haiku apps outside their native environment such as Haiku on Genode. I think they were concerned - wrongly in my view - that this would undermine Haiku as an operating system rather than increase the utility of, and thus demand for, native Haiku apps. Now I believe that this thread shows a softening of attitudes and greater willingness to work together.
