Hi I’m using the last version 26.04.2 . How can I make Sculpt os remember my WiFi password? I installed the Os on my dell Inspiron 15 5000 hard disk.
Also, in the first version I had many sources where I had the possibility to download software from more sources (Alex and other devs), now I only have genodelabs with really few software (for ex just virtualbox as VMS). How to solve this as well?

You can copy the wifi driver’s configuration /model/child/wifi to your persistent configuration directory, .e.g /rw/config/26.04/child/ from within the system_shell and set the managed attribute to no.
Note that in doing so your passphrase is stored plainly on your storage device. You could deploy the file_vault component to store the configuration encrypted but as it is not integrated into the system out-of-the-box you would have to copy the wifi configuration file manually (or employ other means to integrate it more thoroughly - as I lack the practical experience other file_vault users are encouraged to chip in).
Thank you I would really like to see a more user friendly experience where I write down the password and SculotOs asks me if I want to keep it permanently or not. I find quite absurd to not show any pop up and let me write it every time until I learn what to do via CLI.
