Hi, how to change resolution in tiny core os VM by Seoul? Also, how to quickly switch from a VM to the other? Ex, one with Thunderbird one with Firefox, all full screen like in different desktops of the WM environment.
The guest window manager in the applicance does not react on the resolution changes. If you check xrandr, you will see the new resolution and you may change it via xrandr. Or simply reboot the VM.
My little trick for quickly switching between VMs is to put each VM on a different Sculpt virtual desktop, by setting the “target” attribute for the various VM windows in “/rw/recall/window_layouter/recall/rules”. Then you can use the Super-1, Super-2, … Super-9, Super-0 key combinations to switch between them. These key combos don’t conflict with anything in the VMs (on my setups, at least), so you can still use the normal key combinations inside the VMs.
This file is stored in the “recall_fs”, so it persists across reboots - very handy!
